Entrepreneurship and Family Business Conversation Held at GAU

The conversation on “Entrepreneurship and Family Businesses” organized by Girne American University Business Club was held with intense participation.

GAU CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors Assist. Assoc. Dr. Asım Vehbi, GAU Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker, Assistant Secretary General. Assoc. Dr. Sualp Davut and Faculty Deans, Heads of Departments and students attended the interview. One of the most successful entrepreneurs in Cyprus and one of the leading names in the TRNC business world, Ramadan Cemil Business Director Isin Ramadan Cemil, Ezic Business Director Mehmet Ezic and Kombos Business Director Serhan Kombos joined.

The opening speech of the interview was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. While performing, Ulvi Keser stated in her speech that there cannot be an entrepreneurial spirit where there is no capital or stability, and that the family is important in this spirit. Keser thanked the guests who would share their valuable experiences and knowledge and said that it would be a good conversation and good steps were taken.

After the opening speech, the speakers talked about the difficulties they encountered while establishing their businesses, the difficulty of branding, the importance of family support, and how important their secrets of success were, and conveyed their experiences to the students in short sentences. Stating that their principle is to win together and they do not hesitate to support their new projects within the scope of these projects, they stated that they are always open to applications for students.

After the talk, GAU Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker presented a plaque of appreciation to Isin Ramadan Cemil, Ramadan Cemil Business Director, Mehmet Ezic, Ezic Business Director, and Serhan Kombos, Kombos Business Director.
